Sommerjobb
Interested in technology, financial crime or banking? Apply for a Summer Internship at DNB!
Challenge us to think differently!
The financial industry is evolving rapidly. Customers expect personalized, intuitive solutions, and banks must compete not only with each other but also with global tech companies. Simultaneously, regulatory requirements are increasing, and cyber threats are growing more sophisticated. At DNB, these dynamics create an environment that is both challenging and exhilarating.
As an intern at DNB, you'll be placed in a business area or project that aligns with your skills and interests. You'll enjoy considerable autonomy to tackle complex tasks, supported by mentors and talented colleagues. Collaborate with like-minded peers and build lasting connections in a dynamic, inclusive environment.
Who are we looking for?
We believe in the power of diverse perspectives to drive innovation. Whether your background is in technology, economics, social sciences, innovation or design, what truly matters is your curiosity, motivation, and willingness to learn. In previous years, interns have contributed across IT, AML, Wealth Management, and Corporate and Personal Banking.
We encourage you to apply if you
• want to explore a career in banking and gain insights into DNB’s operations
• are curious about the changes in the financial industry
• are on your 1st – 4th year of your degree (at least one year left of your studies in the summer of 2026)
• have good academic results
• communicate fluently in English
Duration and compensation
Internships typically last 8-10 weeks, with flexibility for holidays in most units. The position is paid.
Recruitment process
Submit your application by March 1st, 2026. Instead of a cover letter, we kindly ask you to answer specific questions on our application portal. Include your CV and grade transcripts in PDF format. Please note that a summer internship in DNB requires that you hold a valid work and residence permit in Norway during the period.
If your profile meets the specified requirements, you will be invited to complete online tests. These tests will take approximately 30 minutes and will be sent to you by email after the application deadline (please also check your spam folder). Based on the test results, your academic results, and motivation we will invite the top candidates for interviews with relevant areas in DNB.
