Logg innIntroduction to product security - Finding and fixing security vulnerabilities in software 24.10
Oppmøte vil være i foajeen i første etasje på IFI klokka 16:15,
og derfra går vi samlet til Northern.tech´s kontor.
In this workshop, we will introduce you to product security and common software vulnerabilities (OWASP top 10).
If you're interested in how "hackers" attack vulnerable systems, and how software companies work to fix them, this is the right workshop for you.
After a presentation on the subject, we will give you access to an application with multiple vulnerabilities, and let you collaborate on fixing the issues in it.
There will be food and drinks, and many opportunities to talk about software engineering, information security, servers and IoT devices.

This workshop is recommended for 3rd to 4th year students with an interest in security and some programming experience in different programming languages (such as, Python, Java, SQL, C/C++, JavaScript).
No prior experience with ethical hacking, reverse engineering, cryptography, or other advanced security concepts required.
