Junior Web Developer-part time IMS project position

NIS Foundation is a Norwegian non-profit organisation with projects in Somalia, Mali and Myanmar, and headquarters in Oslo. For more details about NIS’ programmes in Myanmar, please consult our website: https://nis-foundation.org/ NIS has developed its own Information Management System (IMS) based on Microsoft products – PowerApps, Flows, and PowerBI. The IMS helps NIS to collect, organise, analyse and disseminate information about our projects.  

We are looking for a consultant to complete and maintain the IMS while the IMS developer is on maternity leave. The IMS project is estimated to 50 hours dedicated for introduction, training,  completion and launch of the IMS during February-March 2020, and approximately 2 hours per week for maintenance until October 2020. 

The total assignment hours might be increased if required. Possibility for long-term collaboration, should we find the right fit for our team.   

Required qualifications 

  • Fluent knowledge and experience with all Microsoft Office 365 products, especially 
    • PowerApps 
    • Flow 
    • PowerBI 
    • SharePoint 
  • Fluent in English or Norwegian language 
  • Interest in international development and non-profit projects   

The selected candidate will receive introduction, training and support from NIS HQ team in Oslo, and from the IMS developer on Skype.
