Are you studying computer science and would like to apply your skills in finance?

SEB seeks a talented candidate for a part-time position in our Markets department. We are looking for a student with skills within programming and computational analysis, with an interest in finance.

Through a part-time position in SEB, you get the opportunity to learn from experts within finance in one of the leading corporate and investment banks in the Nordics. You will be a valuable asset to our team, and gain insight into SEB as a potential future employer.

We expect you to work around 1-2 days each week, and we are flexible regarding your schedule and exams.

The position
The work will consist in two main projects:

  • Modeling the supply and demand balance in the global oil market

  • Develop automated securities and commodities research

Your profile

  • You have one year left of your bachelor’s degree or have started a master’s degree in the field of computer science, data science and/or mathematics (or equivalent).

  • Strong academic results

  • Interest in financial markets

  • Strong personal integrity


We promote a diverse team, and fluent Norwegian is not required for the position.
